Know Different Aspects of Inferential Therapy

Through this interferential therapy ppt I will try to make you aware of different forms of interferential therapy treatments available today. You can opt for this form of alternate therapy if you are suffering from acute chronic pain and looking for alternative methods of pain relieving. Study reports that it is known to deliver much better results in cases of acute pain.

How does inferential therapy work?

In Interferential therapy TENS treatment, two electrodes crossing each other are used for transmitting current into your body and thus act as pain relievers. TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Neuro Stimulation) delivers a high frequency stimulus with a long pulse duration and tries to block pain signals to your brain thereby hindering the pain gate. With this you feel relieved of your pain.

Do you know that that interferential current that passes through electrodes is the main simulator of pain? It relieves you of the chronic neck pain, asthma and severe muscle ache.

Beneficial for animals too!

Have you ever heard of interferential therapy being used in the treatment of animals? But yes it is true. Apart from treating problems like chronic muscular spasm and spinal pain, neuralgia problems in animals too can be dealt through TENS. Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) has made it possible through passage of calcium ions passing into the body resulting in an increased enzymatic activity thereby reducing inflammation; the main reason of pain and soreness in the body.

Such is the miraculous effect of interferential therapy in physiotherapy!
